Our partnership with MTN South Africa is built on a shared commitment to delivering superior connectivity and value. These terms govern the provision of our boarding services and the facilitation of MTN mobile contracts through our secure digital platforms.
By engaging with our mobile deals and submitting vetting information, you authorise CHTR Mobile to act as your intermediary with MTN South Africa. All mobile contract acquisitions are subject to MTN's standard network credit assessments and regulatory compliance protocols. CHTR PTY LTD reserves the right to modify service terms to reflect changes in mobile network provider policies or national telecommunications regulations. We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of data security and transparency throughout your network upgrade process.
General Terms
Welcome to CHTR Mobile. This platform is operated by CHTR PTY LTD. By accessing our website and utilizing our services, you enter into a legally binding agreement with CHTR PTY LTD. We are proud to be an authorized primary MTN dealer, operating under dealer license code 1405631. Our robust partnership with MTN allows us to deliver exclusive mobile deals and white-glove contract upgrade services to prepaid users across South Africa.
All mobile contract applications facilitated through this site are for 24-month fixed terms on the MTN network. Every application is subject to a mandatory credit vetting and verification process conducted in direct collaboration with MTN. CHTR PTY LTD acts as the expert intermediary, ensuring that your transition to contract-based connectivity is handled with the highest standards of network security and professional care.
Service availability is contingent upon successful vetting outcomes. Users must provide accurate and verifiable personal documentation as required by RICA regulations. By submitting an application, you consent to the processing of your data for the purpose of credit assessment. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
User Obligations & Conduct
As an authorized MTN dealer (License 1405631), CHTR PTY LTD (operating as CHTR Mobile) maintains the highest standards of service and security. By interacting with our platform and the MTN network, you agree to the following responsibilities designed to protect the integrity of the partnership and your personal connectivity.
Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. CHTR Mobile requires immediate notification of any suspected unauthorized access or potential security breach involving your deals or vetting status.
Prohibited Conduct
Users agree not to exploit the services for any unlawful purpose, including fraudulent deal applications or interference with the MTN network infrastructure. Any attempt to bypass vetting protocols is strictly prohibited.
Accuracy of Information
All information provided during the application process must be current and accurate. As we operate under a strict authorized dealer license, providing false vetting data may result in immediate cancellation of pending deals and account termination.
Intellectual Property
The contents of the CHTR Mobile platform, including but not limited to text, software, graphics, images, logos, and icons, are the exclusive property of CHTR PTY LTD and are protected by South African and international copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use of these materials may violate copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
CHTR PTY LTD is an authorized MTN Partner and Dealer (License Code: 1405631). All MTN-related trademarks, trade names, and branding displayed on this site are the property of MTN Group Limited and are used by CHTR PTY LTD under formal authorized dealer and partnership agreements. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as granting any license or right to use any trademark without the prior written consent of CHTR PTY LTD or the respective third-party owners.
Limitation of Liability
CHTR PTY LTD (operating as CHTR Mobile), in its capacity as an authorized MTN dealer under license code 1405631, leverages the robust MTN national infrastructure to deliver premium mobile services. While our partnership with MTN ensures top-tier connectivity, CHTR Mobile provides its services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We act as an intermediary for official MTN contracts and do not guarantee uninterrupted service uptime beyond the service level agreements provided by the primary carrier.
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, CHTR PTY LTD and its directors shall not be held liable for any consequential, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from cellular service unavailability or hardware performance. Our total aggregate liability for any single claim arising out of the provision of these services shall be capped at the total amount paid by the customer for the specific contract or device purchase related to the dispute.
Customers acknowledge that vetting results and activation timelines are determined by standard industry protocols and third-party logistics. CHTR PTY LTD accepts no liability for delays in SIM activation or delivery schedules affected by external factors beyond our direct control.
